I am a multifaceted designer passionate about functional design. Currently pursuing a major in UX/UI design at SCAD, I am concurrently double minoring in sneaker design and graphic design. As a creative with a diverse set of perspectives, I approach shaping experiences with careful consideration of each stage of the design process. Recognizing design as an iterative journey involving collaboration among individuals with distinct roles, my multifaceted background enables me to strike a balance between the ideal creative vision and practical manufacturability.

In addition to the standard design software for UX/UI such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and InDesign, I also often use procreate to mock up ideas and create illustrations. I am also learning to use Blender and Gravity Sketch for 3D modeling.

In today’s world, with AI becoming so prevalent, knowing how to use these tools in a way that expands what a designer is capable of is more than important. I have familiarized myself with generative AI and experiment with its capabilities, staying up to date with the latest advancements,

Having worked as a project manager, I value my adaptability and ability to de-escalate conflicts and direct team projects to satisfaction by working with the provided skill sets and resources. Adaptability and organization is key to making things happen.

As a full time student athlete, I have developed skills to work within strict timeframes, and keeping an organized schedule to be ready to overcome and solve different obstacles and problems as they appear.

Research is Representation

Effective research is foundational to the success of any design. The intricacies and nuances of a user’s experience, such as emotional responses, thought patterns, and how they interact with the product, are revealed through user centric research.

To create an effective design, it is essential to understand your audience.

Design is a collaborative effort. When working with teams, different skill sets and experiences bring their own ideas to the table, enriching the design process. Proper communication with researchers, developers and other teammates is key to bringing these designs to life.
